A Peek at the Thornbury Harbour
Janice Cummings is an emerging artist from Clarksburg. Wood, the chosen medium for Janice’s artistic expression, allows her to draw inspiration from family woodworking projects built in her hometown of Galt, Ontario. Janice’s aspiration of creating a ‘one-of-a-kind’ wooden mosaic with relief captures a significant memory/scene/event meaningful to the recipient. Ghost Kanu
My work is an exploration of realism in fantasy, representing familiar things and places in an imaginative way. Nature's magic work on earth, organic shapes and patterns inspires me; I paint the moods and colours of Lake Huron, the rocky beauty of Georgian Bay and Muskoka region, the shorelines and fauna of Southampton. La Lavanderia
I have been involved in the arts from my earliest memory. I graduated from OCA, 1966 (Honours), and the University of Toronto, BScBMC (Biomedical Communications), 1995 (Honours), to work in Medical and Scientific Illustrator for 20 years. Retirement has allowed me self-expression with watercolours and oils. Email: pdennis@bell.net.Photo Credit: Paulette Dennis

The Great Lakes
A respite from parochial platitudes. The metal becomes intentional and resplendent. Art is in everyone - this is how my art rears its head. Email: JefferyFletcher.art@gmail.com.Photo Credit: Jeffrey Fletcher

The One That Got Away
I rejoice when I hear of a doomed animal being saved in some way. The pig that got away from the factory farm! There is a universality to it that is satisfying. Website: www.gitakarklins.com.Photo Credit: Gita Karklins

Pastel Meadow
Inspired by the natural worlds of both my childhood home on the Prairies and my current Georgian Bay locale, I express movement, depth, and emotion through an arbitrary use of colour to create exaggerated post-impressionistic landscapes. Formally educated in the graphic arts, painting has become my personal escape. Email: jjosephpaintings@yahoo.com.Photo Credit: Jennifer Joseph

Wind Through My Tree
Forming my images exclusively on wood panels, I use only a natural, age-old paint perfectly suited to wood: Milk Paint. The colours are vibrant but can be moody as they interact with the natural character of wood. The subjects are my own memories and how I view the world, "The World as I See It".
