TD Summer Reading
Posted by Jennifer on July 25, 2019
The TD Summer Reading Club is back and better than ever! The Blue Mountains Public Library is offering the TD Summer Reading Club, Canada's biggest, bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests and abilities. This free program is co-created and delivered by 2,000 public libraries across Canada. It’s designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading their way; the key to building a lifelong love of reading.
Kids, ages 0-17 years, can sign up at the L.E. Shore Library or the Craigleith Heritage Depot to be a part of the club. It is easy and kids get the chance to win some great prizes from Pom Pom Treat Hut in Thornbury.
Along with the summer reading club, we are excited to introduce our new Reading Buddy program run by our programming team, Jen and Adia. Reading Buddy is designed to help encourage children to read at any level, by motivating and providing a safe and positive environment. Guardians can “sign out” Jen or Adia to read to their child, have the child read to them, or a combination of the two. Call 519-599-3681 or email email@example.com to book an appointment.
