Virtual Star Gazing with RASC

Virtual Star Gazing with RASC

Posted by Jennifer on October 10, 2020

Are you a lover of the night sky? If so, we have an exciting program that will dazzle you!
Join Ian Wheelband from Royal Astronomical Society of Canada on Tuesday, October 20th at 7pm for an informative virtual tour of our night sky. Ian will virtually stream telescope views of Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn and will also identify the Fall constellations using a LIVE sky video. Learn how to read, find stars and constellations in the autumn night sky. Ian will also demonstrate how to use a star finder. Don't have one? No Problem! You may pick one up from the library in advance (while supplies last).
This is a rain or shine event, and if we are clouded out we will still be able to view the objects from a remote or recorded telescope. Lets turn off the lights and turn on the stars!

Join us for this exciting and interactive event. This program is open to all agesREGISTER HERE.
