The Library and the Arts Advisory Council proudly welcomes the Marsh Street Painters, a group show featuring local artists who come together weekly to paint at the Marsh Street Centre. The opening reception, with artists in attendance is from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday, October 5.
In September 2004 Nancy Jackson and Mary Lou Morgan sought out a place to paint; they chose Clarksburg’s Marsh Street Community Centre because of its large windows and natural light. They loved the spot so much that they invited their friends, and nearly 10 years later the rest is history. Take some time to come and visit this eclectic group show.
The Marsh Street Painters will be exhibiting from October 2 to 31 during regular library hours.
