October 25th, 2016, 7:00-8:00 p.m. @ Ravenna Hall, 628299 Grey Road 119, Ravenna
Presented by the Arts Advisory Council

Learn about an extraordinary project in a unique part of the world! For the past six years, Beverley Smith and Janet Flynn have volunteered with an Italian Aid Organization in northern Uganda, training a group of thirty-four men and women in jewellery skills and design.  With new skills, this remarkable group creates and sells jewellery to finance their children’s schooling.

A short film and pictures, illustrate the story of these remarkable Ugandans working to overcome years of war and hardship.
