Two opportunities for artists!

CALLING ALL ARTISTS!

The Gallery at L.E. Shore is happy to announce two ‘Calls to Artists’.

Every February, The Gallery holds an open, ‘salon style’ show and invites community members to exhibit up to three works of art.
Drop off your work and register in The Gallery: Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm.
All entries must be available for sale. A $10 hanging fee is charged at the time of submission.

It should be noted, in previous years not all items are hung, due to space restrictions or size of artwork.  The Arts and Culture Council’s hanging team will have the final authority on hanging and selection.

Municipal Art Program

The Municipal Art Program (MAP) is now accepting submissions for the May 2020 intake.  This is a juried selection process. The Arts & Culture Council will consider art based on skill and originality, and consider how the art will fit into spaces available in the various Town Hall Departments. Approximately 15-20 items will be selected.
The submission deadline is February 29, 2020.  Applications must be submitted electronically.  Please note: only hangable art is considered, and preference will be given to residents of The Blue Mountains region, or art representing the Blue Mountains.  You may submit up to three items for consideration.
