Meditation Workshop

Location: The Gallery at L.E. Shore Library.

A introduction to Meditation workshop. Everyone is welcome to this 5 week workshop. Drop-in welcomes but we encourage you to register in advance. Even if you can only make one session, sign up!

Week 1:Introduction to meditation, the benefits ~decreased stress and anxiety, stabilizing emotions, deeper sleep, and highlighting brain health by strengthening focus, concentration and memory.
Week 2: Exploring meditation techniques from ancient to modern modalities
Week 3: Creating a home practice
Week 4: Strengthening the brain through specific techniques
Week 5: Long, deep guided meditation

***No experience no equipment needed.  

We will begin by meditating seated on chairs, and offer option to move to cushions as we progress.  Students choice.
