Spend an hour with critically acclaimed photographer Leah Denbok. Since the age of 14, Ms Denbok has been taking portraits of people experiencing homelessness. Leah has published multiple volumes of her work in a series titles Nowhere to Call Home.
Leah will talk about her artistic inspirations and answer questions from the audience. Join us to learn more about this fascinating and talented photographer.
About Leah Denbok:
"Since the age of 14, I have taken portraits of people experiencing homelessness.I am on a mission to change people’s perceptions of those experiencing homelessness. Through my photographs and stories, I am trying to humanize them, to help people see that, apart from their unfortunate circumstances, they are no different from you and I."
