Ontario Public Library Week Author Talk Books

Counting down to our Ontario Public Library Week Author Talks! Join us on Saturday October 20th from 2-4pm at L.E. Shore Memorial Library and featuring 4 bestselling Canadian authors. Tickets are only $2!  Available now at L.E. Shore or Craigleith Heritage Depot.  Interested in reading the featured books beforehand?  They can be found in the Blue Mountains Public Library catalogue or at Jessica's Book Nook (who will also be selling copies at the event.)

The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker
A Toronto girl gets in way over her head as she reconnects with her estranged father (and meets a handsome stranger) in the Alaskan wild. A MUST read!  For K.A. Tucker's other books - please click here.

The Home for Unwanted Girls by Joanna Goodman
We cannot keep this book on the shelf! Based on true events and set in 1950s Quebec when all orphanages were turned into psychiatric hospitals and the residents deemed mentally ill. The story follows a family torn apart and the lengths they will go to find each other. For Joanna Goodman's other title The Finishing School - please click here.

Things To Do When It's Raining by Marissa Stapley
Full of family secrets, lies, and hidden truths, this novel is impossible to put down! For Marissa Stapley's other novel Mating for Life - please click here.

Walk It Off by Ruth Marshall
Our moderator, Ruth, has recently published a memoir - an honest recollection of learning how to do everything again after a life-changing surgery.

Hope to see everyone at the Author Talks on Saturday October 20th at 2pm.  Let's celebrate Ontario Public Library Week together!  Coffee will be served.  Thanks to Ashanti for the support.
