Play & Learn: For Seniors and Caregivers

Posted: by Emma on January 23, 2017

Beaver Valley Outreach and The Blue Mountains Public Library invite you to the first Play and Learn: For Seniors and Caregivers. The event will showcase recreational and social resources that make it easier to lead a fun, active, and interesting life in your community.

It will be held at L. E. Shore Memorial Library, 173 Bruce Street South in Thornbury on February 8th from 12pm– 3 p.m. This is a FREE drop-in event for the public.

Play & Learn is a chance, for seniors, caregivers, and anyone else who is interested, to learn about groups, clubs, and organizations in the Town of Blue Mountains. Representatives from Tai-Chi, Seniors Exercise, Genealogy, Caregiver Support, Knitting Club , Library Senior's Programming, Technology Help, and more will be there. Brief presentations and demonstrations will take place during the afternoon.

We’re excited about welcoming everyone to this new event. Come out and learn about an array of local choices that exist for both seniors and caregivers.
