The Blue Mountains Public Library cares about our Senior Community

June marks the 32nd anniversary of Seniors’ Month

June marks the 32nd anniversary of Seniors' Month.

Here are some of our upcoming events for seniors (but open to everyone!)

1. Seniors Fair

The Library is proud to be a part of the Community’s Seniors Network.

Save the Date for LEARN & PLAY: A Day for Seniors and Caregivers

Learn & Play will focus on the many recreational/social activities available in The Blue Mountains area

Wednesday, September 14th, 2016 at the

Beaver Valley Community Centre.

2. Senior Storytime

The Library is also in partnership with Errinrung Nursing & Retirement Home, providing Errinrung residents with

library materials such as books, audiobooks, playaways, and Daisy Readers.

The Library also delivers a Seniors'Storytime on a monthly basis.

The next storytime: Monday June 20th at 10:30am at Errinrung.

3. BVO's New Territory - Answers 4 Seniors

            The Library and BVO hosts New Territory presentations for seniors

           4. Senior Exercise

            The Library also hosts our ongoing Seniors Exercise (Open to all Adults) at L.E. Shore Memorial Library

            every Monday and Wednesday 10:30-11:30am
