Family Literacy Day 2018

Family Literacy Day® is a national awareness initiative created by ABC Life Literacy Canada in 1999 to raise awareness of the importance of reading and engaging in other literacy-related activities as a family.

Join us at the L.E. Shore Memorial Library for a fun, family literary event hosted by The Blue Mountains Public Library and the Ontario Early Years Centre.  Saturday January 27th from 10:30am - 12pm.

All-ages program.  Free.  Please register online.

Be the first to play our Family Literacy Challenge!  Pick up a Family Literacy Day Connect 3 Card (Primary or Junior) at one of our circulation desks.  Read 3 books together as a family, complete the card, and return to the library by February 18th.  You will be entered into a draw for a Scenic Caves Family Pass (good for 2 adults, 2 youth)
