You & Me Book Club

Posted: by Jennifer on September 11, 2018

Attention all book lovers!

You & Me Book Club

You & Me Book Club
A book club designed for adults and children that share a passion for reading!

The You & Me Book Club is wonderful way to bring adults and children together to share in their love of books and reading. Book club meetings will be held the last Thursday of each month from 6:30 – 7:30 pm in front of the fireplace, with some yummy tea and cookies.
Suggested age is 9 and up.
October's book club pick is the N.Y. Times best selling book “Wonder” written by R.J. Palacio
The first meeting will be Thursday, October 25th at 6:30 pm, where as a group we will discuss what we enjoyed or didn’t enjoy about the selected book. This will be a laid-back hour where we get together as a group and enjoy some tea, cookies, great company and share our thoughts with one and other about the book.
November’s pick - "Number the Stars" by Lois Lowry.  A historical fiction book, about a Jewish family that is forced to flee their home in Copenhagen, Denmark during the Second World War.
November meeting will be Thursday, November 29th.
Copies of the books will be available for loan at the L.E. Shore Library.
