This September in the L. E. Shore Gallery the Arts Advisory Council presents BMFA: New and Emerging Artists

BMFA: New and Emerging Artists

The AAC, in collaboration with The Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts, will feature the work of Leah Denbok, winner of the Murray Clerkson Award, as well as the four other finalists.

A quick peak….

Leah Denbok is a Collingwood photographer specializing in character studies of the homeless.
Karen Bowen, an oil painter from Tiny Beaches, paints landscapes of Canada’s shorelines and countryside.
Kara McIntosh from Nottawa, abstracts the essential qualities of the natural landscape.
Anne Luton of Clarksburg, is inspired by blooming flowers, the escarpment and Georgian Bay.
Jennifer Jansen from Creemore, creates unique 3-D models illustrating the iconic contours of the Niagara Escarpment

The exhibit runs from August 31st till October 4th, 2018
The Opening Reception on September 8th, from 2-4, will be a great opportunity to meet these enormously talented artists and see for yourself why they were shortlisted out of 21 entries.
