#2. All The Bright Places By Jennifer Niven

Such an amazing book!  It’s absolutely beautifully written and a tearjerker (I must admit, it made me cry a little…okay it made me cry like a baby), but don’t let that turn you off of it.  I’ve read it a hundred times over and it’s never lost its punch.  A must read!  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Theodore Finch and Violet Markey wouldn’t have looked twice at each other on any other day, but they did when they met at the top of their school bell tower.  Theodore (or Finch as he prefers to be called) is overly obsessed with the idea of dying. Eleanor was driving the car when she and Violet got into an accident not long ago. Violet survived…Eleanor didn’t.  Violet blames herself everyday for what happened to her sister. Finch and Violet forge an unlikely relationship. They seem to understand each other and you can only have a true friend if you have a mutual respect for each other.  They feel each other’s pain and fill the holes in each other’s hearts.  Having another person to look out for you is uncharted territory for the both of them.  Of course the unknown comes with a few surprises and rough patches but there’s always great things to discover too and they explore it nonetheless.

Venture into the unknown with Finch and Violet in “All The Bright Places”!

Happy Reading!
