Growth vs. Fixed Mindset: How to Create and Support Success in Yourself and Others

Tuesday, November 7, 2017 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: L.E. Shore Memorial Library Gallery

The Blue Mountains Toastmasters invites you to this inspirational presentation by Dr. George McMaster. Dr. McMaster will share his passion for a growth mindset and the impact it can have on personal success in all areas of our lives including relationships, education, business and athletics. He is particularly passionate about how we as parents, grandparents, mentors and coaches can help to promote a growth mindset in those we raise, teach, and inspire. By nurturing a growth mindset in ourselves and others, we can find delight and learning in all experiences.

About Dr. George McMaster
A long time Toastmaster, Dr. McMaster helped found Computer Science departments  in three major Canadian Universities. He acted as consultant for Steve Jobs and Apple computers. As co-founder  of We Care Home Health Services he helped grow the small town business to 64 franchises across Canada. Dr. McMaster became a Napoleon Hill Science of Success Instructor  and has taught numerous Success Principles workshops to franchisees, businesses, students and families. The Thinking Expedition Company out of Houston hired Dr. McMaster and gave him the title "Dr. Diffferent" to distinguish his role as change agent. He recently returned from an extended visit to India where he and his wife became certified yoga instructors.
