Self-Care Series

with Heidi Light

Join us at the L.E. Shore Library for a four-part Self Care series with counsellor, author and blogger Heidi Light.  This Self Care series will be taking place every Sunday for the month of January from 1:30 – 2:30 pm in the Gallery.

Pre – Registration required

$2.00 per session or $ 8.00 for all four sessions.

You take care of your body.  What about the rest of you?  Your thoughts and emotions run the show of your life, but how well do you understand them?  Learn healthy ways to navigate your inner landscape.  Join us for a practical information and education session about emotional and mental self-care.

Now, more than ever, our stress levels are at an all-time high, and mental health issues are through the roof.  How do we recognize if we are actually helping ourselves?

This four-part series is grounded in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, with elements of mysticism and ancient knowledge.  Presented by Heidi Light, Counsellor, Consultant, Speaker, Author and Blogger.

Sunday January 6th

1. Why Self-Care is Not Selfish - How to Live a Better Life (and Make the World Better Too)!

Sunday January 13th

2.  How Your Emotions Guide You and Why It Matters What You Feel

Sunday January 20th

3. How to Understand and Manage Your Thoughts, Even the Tricky Ones

Sunday January 27th

4. How to Navigate Your Mental / Emotional House and Make It Work for You
