Jazz at the Library - Lisa Martinelli & Kevin Turcotte

Jazz at the Library - Lisa Martinelli & Kevin TurcotteFriday, March 2, 2018 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Location: L.E. Shore Memorial Library Gallery - 173 Bruce St. S.

Renowned jazz vocalist Lisa Martinelli and one of Canada’s foremost trumpet players Kevin Turcotte will be joined by Nancy Walker on piano and Kieran Overs on bass to open the 2018 JAZZ AT THE LIBRARY Concert season on March 2, 2018.  Very rarely will you be able to hear these four outstanding musicians appearing together to perform a program of creative jazz music inspired by Chet Baker. As Kevin Turcotte was selected to provide the trumpet track for the Chet Baker movie Born to be Blue, a certain amount of authenticity can be expected. Don’t miss this event.

Tickets available in Thornbury at Pharmasave, in Collingwood at Blue Mountains Music, and in Meaford at Stuff to Read.
