Everyone’s favourite Friday is back featuring plenty of children’s activities; face painting, sack races, balloon stomps, jump rope, bubbles, and hoola-hooping.
Summer 2010

Book Club for Tots – will explore the book Olivia by Ian Falconer.  This new session will begin on Friday February 26 10:45 – 11:30 a.m. and will run for 3 weeks.  Three weeks of toddler fun will begin again on March 26.  There will be no scheduled toddler sessions during March break.

Chess Club – Takes place on Tuesdays 3:30 – 5:00 in the gallery and begins on Tuesday January 5th.  Strategies, snacks and Sheila!  Come to the library after school to learn how to improve your game.  The cost is $5.00 per child for this new session.  All levels welcome, ages 8+. 

Hour in the Tower –   Takes place on Thursdays 3:30 – 5:00 in the story tower and begins on Thursday January 7th.   The cost is $5.00 per child for this new session.  Join Sheila to make the latest crafts. 

Parent and Child Book Club - Meets the last Thursday of each month from September - June at 7:00 p.m.  Originally known as Mother Daughter Book Club, Parent and Child Book Club has grown to become everyone’s favourite Thursday.  Join us for amazing discussions, coziness and snacks.  Free for parents/guardians of children 8+.

Wii Wednesdays – take place on the first two Wednesdays of each month from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m.  The next session will be March 3rd .   Play DanceDance Revolution, Guitar Hero and more!  Snack and juice are provided.  For ages 8+.
